Applications

Below is the form to be used for applying to the Ghostbusters AU game. This application also doubles as your character's full profile, which will be linked to on the team/characters page, so make sure you're satisfied with what you're presenting, and place it in your character's journal. When you are ready to submit your application, paste a link to the journal entry containing the application. In the subject line, put 'CHARACTER NAME | CANON | RESERVED/NOT RESERVED'. Caps are optional. The mods will reply typically within one week, depending on the number of other applications submitted in the same time frame. Please be respectful if a mod asks for revisions or clarification.

Note that your application does not have to be particularly lengthy, but it should cover enough of the basics that the mods feel you have a good understanding of your character's background, personality, and how you plan to play that character.

One of the most important parts of the application are your goals, both IC and OOC. Team leaders may need to look at this in order to choose plots relevant to your character, so make sure you have something down. If all you put is 'up for anything,' it may be harder for them to think of plot details that fit well with your character.

Applications are always open.

Make sure the team leader comments on your application with their OOC approval. If your character is a freelancer or other non-team character, please state that here. <b>Talents:</b> Describe each talent below, and how they got good at it if applicable   ♥ Intellectual Talent: (something the character knows a lot about, like science, art, math, languages, etc.)   ♥ Technical Talent: (a skill or hobby the character is good at, like cooking, playing an instrument, fixing things, crafts, etc.)   ♥ Physical Talent: (something the character is physically good at, like running, sports, staying awake for long hours, eating all the food at the buffet, etc.)   ♥ Interpersonal Talent: (a skill the person has when dealing with other people, like teaching, bluffing, intimidating, seduction, etc.) <b>Failings:</b> Name at least one thing your character is hilariously bad at. Why are they involved with the Ghostbusters? <b>Goals:</b> What does this character ultimately want to do with his/her life? What matters most to this person? <b><u>Personality</u></b> <b>Likes:</b> <b>Dislikes:</b> <b>Strengths:</b> What are the good traits of your character? <b>Weaknesses:</b> What are your character's flaws? <b>Relations:</b> How does your character relate to other prominent characters in the game? <b><u>OOC Notes</u></b> <b>Player's Name:</b> <b>Contact Info:</b> (Plurk, IM, email, etc.) <b>OOC Goals:</b> What are some scenes/plots you'd really like to do with this character? <b>OOC Preferences:</b> List things you do NOT want to do, or would not be interested in doing. <b>Permissions:</b> Link to a permissions post here, or just offer a brief description of what you'll allow/not allow. <b>Miscellaneous:</b> Anything else you feel is important can go here. Willingness to run plots, things people should know about you OOCly, tagging speed, etc.
